Smithsonian Channel Premiering Impossible Repairs with Mike Davidson

Impossible Repairs, a new series that will explore the engineering secrets behind some of the world’s most innovative machines, is slated to bow on Smithsonian Channel this fall.

Hosted by filmmaker, adventurer and survivalist Mike Davidson, the six-part series will give audiences a glimpse into the heart of the machines that shape our economy and way of life. It will also spotlight the mechanics, engineers and technicians who oversee their operations.

Impossible Repairs will debut on Smithsonian Channel in the U.K. on September 13, in the U.S. and Canada on September 19, in Latin America on October 3 and in Brazil on October 17.

Impossible Repairs is produced by Attraction Images in association with Smithsonian Channel, Blue Ant Media and Beyond Distribution. Davidson is the series producer and director. The series is executive produced by Joey Case, Nicole Hamilton and Richard Speer for Attraction and John Cavanagh for Smithsonian Channel. Overseeing the series for Smithsonian Channel in Canada is Sam Linton, head of original content for Blue Ant Media’s Canadian channels.
