CTV Orders Season 6 of The Amazing Race Canada

CTV has commissioned a sixth season of The Amazing Race Canada that will feature everyday heroes, including teachers, parents, first responders, community leaders, mentors and athletes, who have a story to tell.

The Amazing Race Canada is slated to return to CTV with host Jon Montgomery next summer. Casting for the upcoming sixth season is open, and while the forthcoming iteration seeks to highlight everyday heroes, all Canadians are invited to submit audition videos and challenge themselves to find the hero within. New this season, fans and viewers can tell The Amazing Race Canada about the everyday heroes who they would like to see conquer the Race, in addition to submitting their own applications.

“Pivoting to a heroic theme represents an exciting new direction for The Amazing Race Canada,” said Mike Cosentino, the president of content and programming at Bell Media. “We are really looking forward to finding and showcasing the everyday heroes among us.”
