Crime+Investigation Channel Grows European Footprint

A+E Networks’ true-crime channel Crime+Investigation has expanded its European footprint, launching in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

From launch, Crime+Investigation will be available in 4 million households on the pay-TV platforms Sky, Telekom, Vodafone, Unitymedia, 1 & 1, M7, UPC (Switzerland and Austria), Teleclub, Content4TV, SuisseDigital, A1, Liwest and 3. Headlining the launch schedule are high-profile international hits, including the documentary Surviving R Kelly: The Impact and, marking the 50th anniversary of the Manson Family murders, Charles Manson – The Dark Legacy.

Crime+Investigation Germany also launches with a strong local commissioning slate. Its first title, The Invisible Line, produced by Emanuel Rotstein, senior director of programming at A+E Networks Germany, is currently in production, shooting at locations across the U.S. and is slated to air in Q4. There are further commissions planned for 2020.
