Cineflix Rights is partnering with Goldfinch TV in a deal that gives the distributor exclusive global rights to a 50-hour slate of five cooking series commissioned by ITV.

All five series are produced by Goldfinch TV’s subsidiary, Rock Oyster Media. ITV began airing both series on November 3. Details of the three further cooking shows, also scheduled for ITV’s Sunday morning slots, will be announced shortly.

The five series include Nadia’s Family Feasts (10×60 min.), which is hosted by Celebrity MasterChef winner Nadia Sawalha, who will serve up family recipe ideas based around different cuisines, such as British, Italian, Chinese, French, Moroccan, Indian, North American and Middle Eastern. Sawalha, joined by guest chefs, will prepare four dishes: breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.

Also on the slate is Beautiful Baking with Juliet Sear (10×60 min.), which will see the baking expert front her own TV show from her studio kitchen themed around an ingredient, style of baking, calendar event or celebration. She will be joined by special guests who give their own take on the world of baking.

Goldfinch Head of Television Eric Woollard-White said: “With two previous cookery series already successfully delivered to ITV and broadcast earlier this year, and five new commissions in various stages of production, our TV business in the U.K. is quickly establishing a significant program catalog. When we were looking for a new international sales partner for our TV content, Cineflix Rights were an obvious choice given their proactive and ambitious approach and the company’s strong and established global footprint.”

Kate Laffey, VP of acquisitions at Cineflix Rights, who brokered the deal with Goldfinch’s Woollard-White, added: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Goldfinch TV and acquiring this quality portfolio of cooking content to add to our expanding food slate. The global marketplace is always hungry for more cooking shows and we’re looking forward to serving up these tasty new titles to our international buyers.”
