Channel 4 Orders A Very British Hotel

LONDON: Channel 4 has commissioned the three-part series A Very British Hotel from Oxford Scientific Films.

A Very British Hotel will air in March. The hour-long episodes provide viewers with exclusive access to the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, the European flagship of award-winning luxury brand Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The series offers insight into one of the world’s most prestigious hotels during its busy summer season from July to September.

The hotel hosts international guests and wealthy families visiting London on summer vacation. It also caters big society weddings. Throughout the series, viewers will see Hollywood A-listers such as Morgan Freeman, overseas royalty and more. The series also provides insight into what it’s like to work at the hotel, and follows Heston Blumenthal, whose two Michelin-starred restaurant is located inside the hotel, as he and his team launch a new dish.
