BossaNova Media has closed deals covering 80-plus hours of content with ZDF, Sky and Seven. One in Germany.

Seven. One Entertainment Group, parent of the SAT.1 and ProSieben channels, licensed Adventure Gold Diggers, following the men and women who prospect for gold in the most inhospitable areas of Australia.

The company also picked up season 13 of Border Patrol.

ZDF acquired Mysteries of the Ancient Dead, which considers a question that has intrigued humanity since the beginning of time: What happens when we die? The six-part series draws on the latest science and technology, from forensics to advanced imaging techniques, to investigate our prehistoric ancestors’ complex relationship with death.

Sky Deutschland, meanwhile, picked up a package that features multiple seasons of the Patrol franchise. This includes seasons six to eight of Border Patrol and seasons five to 12 of Dog Patrol. It also acquired season two of Cold Case Killers.

“Selling into Germany—Europe’s largest and arguably most competitive market—is never easy,” said Tatiana Grinkevich, head of sales at BossaNova. “German broadcasters are under huge pressure to air content that’s capable of pleasing and retaining their highly discerning audiences, which makes them super quality-conscious when it comes to acquisitions. To have sold 80-plus hours of content to three of Germany’s top broadcasters is not just an achievement but a real tribute to the caliber of BossaNova’s slate.”
