Blue Ant Debuts Pet-Themed FAST Channel

Blue Ant Media has launched the new FAST channel Love Pets on Sling Freestream in the U.S.

The pet-themed channel features series that provide heartfelt stories about animals and the people who care for them. This includes The Shelter: Animal SOS, providing a look inside the Dublin animal shelter DSPCA.

Additional programming on the channel includes Pick-a-Puppy, following families as they visit breeders and shelters in search of the perfect canine companion; Hope for Wildlife, centering on a dedicated wildlife rescue team led by Hope Swinimer; and ER Vets, following a group of veterinarians as they tend to animals at a trauma center.

Other series available on Love Pets are Unstable, an emotional journey with professional horseback rider Allie, business manager Tammy, 12-year-old Alex and barn manager Megan, who look to build a world-class show barn; The Bizarre Pet Vets, starring Dr. James and his team as they treat the most bizarre and beloved animals in Australia; and Work on the Wild Side, following the highs and lows of vets and volunteers who have given up their day jobs in the U.K. to move to South Africa to rescue, rehabilitate and release wild animals.

Love Pets will roll out on additional streaming platforms in the coming months. It joins Blue Ant Media’s growing portfolio of FAST channels, which also includes Love Nature, Total Crime, HauntTV, Homeful and HistoryTime.
