BBC Studios Titles Land on Discovery Plus in India

Discovery Plus, India’s first aggregated real-life entertainment streaming app, has added to its content portfolio with a collection of BBC Studios titles.

Consumers can now enjoy shows including Icons, which features the greatest figures of the 20th century like late the Mahatma Gandhi, Muhammed Ali, Nelson Mandela, Neil Armstrong, Albert Einstein and Charlie Chaplin; and Top Gear, the world’s biggest motoring show. Viewers also have access to such BBC landmark series as Planet Earth and Blue Planet, narrated by Sir David Attenborough.

Also on the slate is The Birth of Empire—The East India Company, The Dark Charisma of Adolf Hitler, The World’s War: Forgotten Soldiers of Empire, The Ganges with Sue Perkins and Ancient Worlds, Pompeii—Secrets Of The Petrified Bodies.

As a part of its special October lineup, Discovery Plus is premiering content in new categories—War, Civilizations, Biopics, Nature & Medical Sciences—along with 34 new titles for its passionate communities.
