BBC Studios Produces Grenfell Doc for Channel 4

BBC Studios Documentary Unit has been commissioned to produce the feature-length documentary Grenfell: The Untold Story for Channel 4.

The 90-minute doc uses never-seen-before footage shot by the tower’s artist in residence, Constantine Gras, to shed new light on the tragic events. Gras documented the struggles of the Grenfell Residents Group, a collective of residents who raised issues and concerns about the work being carried out on the tower in the years before the fire.

Grenfell: The Untold Story will be shown on Channel 4 on September 8 at 10 p.m. It is directed by James Newton, produced by Daisy Ayliffe and executive produced by Kirsty Cunningham and Jessie Versluys.
