BBC Studios is bringing the BBC Lifestyle linear channel to Cignal TV in the Philippines, where it will join BBC Earth and BBC News.

BBC Lifestyle features lifestyle programming from BBC Studios and other British producers. The channel is home to Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars; Nigella Lawson’s Nigella’s Cook, Eat, Repeat; and Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s One-Pan Wonders, as well as Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, Grand Designs, George Clarke’s Old House New Home, The Great British Bake Off and The Graham Norton Show.

It makes its official Cignal TV debut on October 1.

BBC Studios’ VP of distribution for Southeast Asia, South Korea and Japan, Cheryl Png, said: “We are excited to expand our partnership with Cignal TV, the leading Pay TV provider in the Philippines, to bring the best of British creativity in lifestyle and entertainment programming to local audiences. BBC Lifestyle promises to be a beloved one-stop television destination for travel, food, design and escape for fans across the Philippines, complementing BBC Earth’s world-class factual programming and BBC News’ impartial and in-depth news coverage.”

“We are pleased to have BBC Lifestyle in our growing channel lineup, consistent with our commitment to give our subscribers the widest range of options to choose from,” said Cignal TV’s president and CEO Jane J. This allows our viewers to have the best content available anytime in the palm of their hand.”
