Authentic Entertainment is partnering with Kronicle Media to develop and produce character-driven content for and about women.

The agreement will see the two companies work together on both documentary and unscripted projects. Authentic Entertainment, a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America, is the production company behind unscripted hits such as Flipping Out, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and the return of Trading Spaces for TLC. Kronicle Media was formed last year by former Will Packer Productions executives Korin D. Huggins and Monique Nash.

“We are truly excited to be teaming up with Korin and Monique to develop and produce original content focused on diverse female voices,” said Authentic Entertainment’s CEO and co-founder, Lauren Lexton. “We share a common passion to bring creative voices to light and this is such an exciting time for women to work with other women since we are the most engaged audience.”

“Authentic Entertainment has developed some of the most iconic unscripted shows on TV and we are thrilled to be in business with them,” said Kronicle Media’s Huggins and Nash. “Lauren and her team are the perfect partners in our quest to create sophisticated female-driven content that will inspire, enlighten and empower. We can’t wait to get started!”
