Autentic Distribution Inks Raft of New Deals for Factual Content

Amid the increased demand from broadcasters and platforms in light of the COVID-19 crisis, Autentic Distribution has closed a series of deals for titles on its factual content slate.

An 18-hour program package with history and nature titles, including The Wild Andes, has sold to Mediawan and Ushuaia in France. The Czech channel FTV Prima picked up 52 hours of programming that features Terror!, Out of the Cradle and Berlin 1945. Poland’s pay-TV platform ITI Neovision/ NC+ acquired 28 hours of programming, including At Our Neighbour’s Table and Anatomy of Evil. Generation Algorithm, Obsessed with Food and Tokyo 2020—The Price of Security is going to ORF Austria.

In China, the SVOD service iQiyi acquired 14 hours, including Berlin 1945, Secrets of Arabia and Terror!. Bytedance China, meanwhile, bought 110 hours that feature Magnificent Maghreb, the web series Superintelligence–Beyond Human and What Went Wrong–Countdown to Catastrophe.

From Autentic Distribution’s catalog of wildlife and travel/culture titles, Alpine Villages, Reinventing New York and A Goal for Freedom—Women’s Football in Kabul have been picked up by the Swiss pubcaster SRF.
