LOS ANGELES: Netflix has unveiled four new original documentaries that are set to launch globally on the streaming service, including one about Amanda Knox.

Amanda Knox is set for a September 30 launch on Netflix. The original documentary from directors Rod Blackhurst (Here Alone) and Brian McGinn (Chef’s Table), and producer Mette Heide (India’s Daughter), explores the infamous murder case that made headlines around the world.

The Ivory Game, which rolls out on Netflix on November 4, examines the underbelly or ivory trafficking, with Leonardo DiCaprio on board as an executive producer. Into the Inferno sees Werner Herzog and volcanologist Clive Oppenheimer embark on a global journey exploring some of the world’s most mythical volcanoes in Indonesia, Ethiopia, Iceland and North Korea. It is set to premiere on Netflix on October 28.

The White Helmets, meanwhile, is an original short documentary set in Aleppo, Syria, and Turkey that follows three volunteer rescue workers as they put everything on the line to save civilians affected by the war. It will be available on Netflix on September 16.

Netflix will present the titles at the upcoming 2016 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Lisa Nishimura, Netflix’s VP of original documentary programming, said, “The breadth of our slate at the Toronto International Film Festival speaks to Netflix’s continued celebration of diverse voices and styles in the world of nonfiction. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of the documentary form, and our films screening at Toronto represent both emerging talent and iconic filmmakers during a thrilling time for documentaries.”
