World Media Rights’ 6×60-minute third installment of the hit factual show Air Crash Confidential is headed to broadcasters in the U.K. and Australia.

Season three of Air Crash Confidential has been snapped up by Quest in the U.K. and Nine Network in Australia. The series is distributed by ZDF Enterprises in the rest of the world. It explores such plane-related issues as poor maintenance and pilot risk-taking, which lead to disastrous consequences.

Alan Griffiths and David McNab serve as executive producers for Air Crash Confidential. The third installment comprises six episodes titled “Instrument Confusion,” “Disastrous Descents,” “Incredible Causes,” “Emergency Landings,” “The Nevada Triangle” and “Flying Blind.”

McNab, the creative director of World Media Rights, commented: “Each show tells the story behind three chilling disasters and in this series our creative teams have surpassed themselves. The painstaking reconstructions blend with photoreal CGI and gripping witness testimony to create mini-movies that are absorbing, terrifying and intensely moving.”

Griffiths, the CEO of World Media Rights, added: “This fantastic third season of our sensational series Air Crash Confidential is a result of our new relationship with ZDF Enterprises. Their investment in the brand has made it possible and we’re confident this series exceeds the first two series in impact and production values.”
