A+E EMEA Launches Streaming Channels in Belgium

The A+E Networks EMEA streaming channels HISTORY Play and Crime + Investigation Play have launched on Prime Video Channels in Belgium.

Customers in Belgium gained access to A+E Networks EMEA programming as an on-demand subscription service on August 16. The expansion of these services on Prime Video Channels in Belgium follows the company’s product successes in the U.K., Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.

Accessible content through HISTORY Play includes such documentaries and factual series as The Curse of Oak Island, The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, World’s Greatest Treasure Mysteries, Ancient Aliens and Forged in Fire. Crime + Investigation Play features true-crime content, namely The First 48, Meet, Marry, Murder and Secrets of Playboy.

Adrian Pilkington, COO of A+E Networks EMEA and general manager of Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “We are excited that Prime members in Belgium can now watch our premium true crime and history content. This launch is a great addition to our recent international expansion, which included launching our streaming channels in Poland and Sweden.’’
