BBC Studios Science Unit to Develop Immersive Experiences

BBC Studios Science Unit has entered a strategic creative partnership with Moonraker VFX to develop and produce immersive content for the expanding location-based entertainment market.

“By combining Moonraker’s creative and innovative technology with our world-class storytelling, we will be exploring bold new ways to captivate and connect with global audiences in the immersive space—delivering experiences that will be truly awe-inspiring,” said Andrew Cohen, head of BBC Studios Science Unit.

Rob Liddell, executive producer at BBC Studios Science, added, “We’ve collaborated closely with the team at Moonraker for many years, producing some of our most innovative and ambitious award-winning work. I’m thrilled to take this creative partnership to new audiences and begin crafting unique and unforgettable new experiences together.”

The two teams will develop a slate of immersive projects that take audiences of all ages on journeys through science, nature and the universe.

BBC Studios Science Unit and Moonraker previously worked together on several TV series, including Earth and the upcoming Evolution (w.t.).
