CuriosityStream Names New VP of Content Partnerships

John Higgins has been named the VP of content partnerships at CuriosityStream to accelerate growth in AI licensing and strategic alliances.

“I’m thrilled by the opportunity to collaborate internally and externally with so many creative and forward-thinking people,” said Higgins. “CuriosityStream’s meticulously sourced and curated library delivers exceptional value to organizations developing the next generation of intelligent systems. It’s an exciting time to help extend the reach and utility of our content in new and transformative ways.”

In his new role, Higgins will focus on building the company’s licensing relationships with major technology and AI developer partners. He will report directly to Clint Stinchcomb, president and CEO of CuriosityStream.

Higgins joined CuriosityStream in 2021. Under his leadership, the company launched the Curiosity Audio Network, featuring nine original podcasts developed in collaboration with iHeartMedia, as well as working with Audible, Apple Books and other leading platforms.

“John has been a driving force in helping CuriosityStream engage with a new class of partners,” said Stinchcomb. “He has done an outstanding job advancing our AI licensing initiatives and deepening relationships with leading hyperscalers and AI developers seeking high-quality, ethically sourced and data-enriched video. His ability to listen, understand and collaboratively craft large volume and bespoke dataset solutions from Curiosity’s extensive premium video corpus of nearly two million hours has helped drive meaningful revenue growth and position CuriosityStream as a premier partner in the AI era.”
