Go Button Preps New Super Channel Series

Go Button Media, marking its tenth anniversary, is producing two new series for Super Channel that will be distributed worldwide by Cineflix Rights.

The eight-part War Trains and the ten-episode Ancient Disasters, now in production, form part of a 60-hour slate deal announced last year. Cineflix Rights recently inked deals on two series under the partnership: National Geographic International prebought Mysteries of Ancient Medicine and acquired Oracles and Prophets.

Daniel Oron, co-founder and executive producer at Go Button Media, commented: “It feels right to mark the start of Go Button’s tenth anniversary year by going into production on two such powerful series, in collaboration with two of our most enduring partnerships. Super Channel has proved an exceptional broadcast ally for us over the past decade, and we are energized to keep delivering shows that work so well for its viewers in Canada. We are inspired that Cineflix Rights continues to place such great faith in our boutique business. A mutual focus on great stories, combined with trust and understanding, has grown into a vastly beneficial relationship. As a result, Cineflix has a ready stream of shows to add to its catalog and our programs are viewed around the world. Moreover, the market intel we get from the team helps ensure we continue producing series that work domestically and internationally.”

Felicia Litovitz, VP of acquisitions for North America at Cineflix Rights, added: “Go Button has been a great partner for Cineflix Rights, consistently providing high-quality ideas which we can work together on to deliver multiple series with global appeal, and whose continuing success is demonstrated through these latest deals with National Geographic.”

Kim Ball, chief content officer at Super Channel, added: “Our partnership with Go Button Media has grown stronger over the past decade. We’re delighted to continue to work alongside Daniel and the team, who consistently deliver compelling, high-quality series and remain a valued partner. Congratulations on ten successful years!”
