Pineapple Entertainment to Produce Welcome to Menopause

Banijay’s Pineapple Entertainment is set to produce the factual series Welcome to Menopause (Velkommen til Overgangsalderen) for DR1 and DRTV in Denmark.

Researchers, everyday Danes and several famous faces will come together to shine a spotlight on the often-overlooked topic of menopause, which affects at least half of the world’s population. Participants will candidly share their experiences, delving into the physical and mental challenges and concerns of perimenopause.

Danish actors Lærke Winther and Lone Hertz and rower Mette Bloch will participate and speak honestly about how they felt when they stepped into the next era of their lives. Researchers will then build on these personal stories by discussing available treatments and sharing the studies that have been done so far in Denmark.
