AMC Networks International UK has commissioned a second season of Yeti Television’s The Truth About My Murder.

Season two of the series will once again see forensic pathologist Dr. Richard Shepherd tackle ten complex murder cases, guiding the audience through each victim’s postmortem to reveal the truth behind the crimes they were subjected to.

The season is set to air on the factual entertainment channel TRUE CRIME, formerly known as CBS Reality, in early 2024.

Sian Price, creative director at Yeti, said: “After the great response to season one, we’re thrilled to be back with a second season and working with the wonderful Dr. Shepherd once more. Dr. Shepherd’s expertise demonstrates how science and pathology not only solve crimes but give voice to the victims of crime. We are also proud that the series will help raise awareness of the behavioral ‘red flags’ we should all be alert to when it comes to the perpetrators of violent crime.”

Sam Rowden, VP of the content group at AMC Networks International UK, added: “The Truth About My Murder with Dr. Richard Shepherd delivers an unparalleled expertise in a specific area of murder investigations. It gives the viewer a great insight into the process by using some of the latest forensic technology, which allows the victims’ bodies to tell the truth. It has been a pleasure to work with Yeti and Dr. Shepherd on this second season, and we look forward to sharing it with our audiences across all our services.”
