NEW YORK: Lucky 8 TV, the company behind A&E’s 60 Days In and Behind Bars: Rookie Year, is developing a documentary series about the investigators of the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office’s brand-new task force.

Lucky 8 TV has secured exclusive access to the task force, which seeks to crack some of the most heinous unsolved crimes in the area. The group was announced in June and its first undertaking was a 1998 case involving a high school student who disappeared from a Tulsa parking lot and was later found murdered.

Greg Henry and Kim Woodard, co-presidents of Lucky 8 TV, said, “With 60 Days and Rookie Year, we’ve been able to spark a conversation about our corrections systems. In this new series, we’re looking to do the same for these unsolved and mostly forgotten crimes—hopefully helping generate new leads in the process.”
