SHERMAN OAKS: GRB Entertainment has placed two true-crime series, including Hostage: Do or Die, in Japan, the U.K. and Africa.

Collaboration in Japan and Sky in the U.K. both acquired Hostage: Do or Die. The series explores extreme circumstances involving criminals who take innocent victims hostage. In the series, the hostages and negotiators who survived nearly fatal ordeals recount the dangerous circumstances that changed their lives forever for the first time.

e.tv in Africa picked up four seasons of the factual thriller On the Case, exploring murder mysteries through in-depth interviews with those closest to the case and examining the forensic evidence that helped solve the crimes. To date, On the Case has been sold into more than 130 countries.

“GRB has a vast library of intense true-crime series that broadcasters around the world continue to show unwavering interest in,” said Michael Lolato, the senior VP of international distribution at GRB Entertainment. “On the Case and Hostage: Do or Die have been extremely popular and are sure to engage audiences in Africa, Japan and the U.K.”
