TVO Kids Adds Amberwood/CleverCat Co-Pro

OTTAWA: The preschool series The Baba House, co-produced by CleverCat Productions and Amberwood Entertainment, is headed to TVO Kids in Canada through a new development deal.

The series is created by Caroline Roberts of CleverCat Productions. It features the antics of five very different Babas as they reach different milestones that are all part of toddlers’ lives. Amberwood and CleverCat will start development with TVO Kids this fall and intend to co-produce the series as an international treaty co-production between Canada and the U.K.

“The Baba House offers preschoolers a place of warmth, joy and reassurance which reflect their own world and everyday lives,” commented Chantal Ling, the executive VP at Amberwood. “We are delighted to be working again with Pat Ellingson and TVO Kids as they are the perfect home for The Baba House.”
