Passion Notches Up African Sales for Series & Docs

LONDON: Passion Distribution has sold several of its series and documentaries into Africa, including a deal with Viasat Explore.

Viasat Explore picked up a package that includes Timber Kings seasons one through three and the factual-entertainment series Carver Kings. Additional sales include seasons one and two of Mind of a Murderer and the docs Captive for 18 Years: The Jaycee Lee Story and Batman Shootings for Viasat Crime.

A number of lifestyle titles, among them Charlie Luxton’s Homes By the Sea seasons one and two, along with season one of Selling Houses, were acquired by African Business Channel. The broadcaster also went for seasons four through seven of Motorway Cops, as well as season seven of Robot Wars for its Ignition Channel.
