Kanal D’s Turkish Dramas Land in South Africa

Kanal D International has licensed a number of its Turkish dramas, including Fatmagul and Matter of Respect, to the e.tv family of channels in South Africa.

This new agreement sees Kanal D International become the first Turkish company in the South African free-to-air market. English-language channel e.tv currently boasts more than 16 million viewers across the country.

Titles such as Fatmagul, Love, Secrets, War of the Roses, Kuzey Guney and Love and Sin have been already been airing in the African territories of Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Angola and Mozambique over the past few years.
