icflix Expands Reach in Bahrain

DUBAI: Middle Eastern and North African online streaming service icflix is growing its footprint in Bahrain through a strategic partnership with telecom operator Zain Bahrain.

The agreement brings Zain Bahrain customers icflix content such as Arabia’s first teen female superhero animated series, Dunia, as well as Jazwood TV series and movies, including Qalb Al Asad, Giran Al Saad and Tattah. The partnership also covers Hollywood movies like Lone Survivor, Grace of Monaco and Need for Speed. Zain Bahrain prepaid and postpaid customers will have access to icflix’s library of content for a monthly fee or a weekly plan through a one-click registration process.

“This partnership will give Zain Bahrain customers a value-for-money entertainment experience,” said icflix’s founder and CEO, Carlos Tibi. “We will ensure the customers receive the best of icflix content with ease and uncompromising quality whether it’s at home or on the go on their smartphones or tablets.”

“We are very pleased to be announcing this important strategic partnership with icflix,” commented Zain Bahrain’s marketing director, Roland Loetscher. “With its focus on customer experience, Zain Bahrain tends to be first-to-market with unique digital lifestyle offerings that provide customers with high-quality content. We are certain our customers will enjoy having on-demand access to such a large selection of content via their smart devices, making for a richer and more enjoyable digital experience.”
