BBC Worldwide Content Lands on Kwesè TV

BBC Worldwide has signed its first content sales agreement with the new pan-African pay-TV broadcaster Kwesè TV, which is a subsidiary of Econet Media.

The mixed-genre package includes more than 50 hours of programming. Content will air across 17 African markets on the Kwesè-branded channels Kwesè Know, a factual-edutainment platform; Kwesè Family, a general-entertainment network; Kwesè Inc., which offers entrepreneurial stories; and Kwesè Kids, featuring children’s entertainment. Among the titles available are Peter Jones—How We Made Our Millions (Kwesé Inc.), Million Dollar Intern (Kwesé Inc.), In Your Ear (Kwesé Know), The Life Swap Adventure (Kwesé Know) and World’s End (Kwesé Know).
