Acting MD in Place at Al Jazeera English

DOHA: With Al Anstey’s appointment as CEO of Al Jazeera America, the role of managing director for Al Jazeera English will be filled on an acting basis by Giles Trendle.

Trendle will also continue in his current role as AJE’s director of programs. He has been with Al Jazeera since 2004. He joined Al Jazeera English in 2006.
