BROOKLYN: HITN-TV has entered into an agreement with National Geographic Channel and FOX Networks Group to acquire new programming, which is slated to begin airing next week.

Highlights include the Cesar Millan-led titles Leader of the Pack and Cesar to the Rescue. There is also Dr. Vet, L.A., featuring three of Los Angeles’s best-known Hispanic veterinarians; Aquiles in Houston, which follows a chef and his family as they move to America to open a Mexican restaurant; and Nuestra Mirada (Our Look), a four-part special focused on Hispanic immigrants struggling to succeed in the U.S.

“These new programs are important additions to HITN-TV’s programming,” said Eric Turpin, HITN-TV’s general manager. “They include factual productions, featuring a number of new titles that are part of our ongoing programming strategy to provide exciting and fresh new content that continues to grow our audience in 2016.”

“As one of HITN-TV’s strongest content lineups for this fall TV season, we are planning to push these new shows hard; I believe the new programming for September has the potential to be a big hit among our audience,” added Florentina Almonte, the programming director of HITN-TV.
