Hemisphere Finalizes Snap TV Deal

Hemisphere Media Group has finalized the acquisition of a 75-percent equity interest in Snap Global, which was founded in association with MarVista Entertainment.

Ariel Tobi, founder of Snap TV, has joined Hemisphere as the senior VP of content distribution and production. He will oversee content licensing and the expansion of Hemisphere’s content-distribution business. Tobi will also lead Hemisphere and MarVista Entertainment’s new production joint venture.
