Zodiak Kids Lands More Sales for Zack & Quack

LONDON: Zodiak Kids has finalized a host of deals for the preschool series Zack & Quack, including with broadcasters in the Middle East and Latin America.

The recently launched second season of Zack & Quack was sold to Discovery Kids Latin America, Thai PBS in Thailand and Israeli Educational TV. Free-TV channel TV3 Catalunya acquired both the first and second seasons.

In addition, season one was recently picked up by public broadcasters RTHK TV in Hong Kong and Televisión Nacional de Uruguay. Central American broadcaster Canal Once also signed on for the show. In Europe, Amazon Prime Germany, PlusPlus in Ukraine and ERR TV in Estonia acquired the series. Ultra TV and Nasa Mreza, meanwhile, snapped up rights for other Eastern European territories, including Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo. Watchever went for the SVOD rights for Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. Zodiak Kids has also licensed all TV rights for Zack & Quack season one to WeKids Asia and I-Intellect for distribution in China and Malaysia.

Zack & Quack follows the adventures of a boy named Zack and his best friend, an impulsive young duck named Quack. The series is produced by creators QQD in partnership with U.K. producers Belly Up Productions, Israel’s Candy Bear Studios and Singapore’s Infinite Frameworks.
