Warner Bros. Discovery Reveals Annecy Programming Lineup

Warner Bros. Animation (WBA), Cartoon Network Studios (CNS) and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe have revealed the programming lineup they will be presenting at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

The studios’ presentations will feature exclusive sneak peeks, new previews and a gathering of visionary animators. Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe also produced Annecy’s official 2025 trailer, which features appearances from Bugs Bunny and other iconic Warner Bros. characters.

The preview was directed by Grant Orchard (Hey Duggee) with executive producer Ben Bocquelet (The Amazing World of Gumball).

Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, said, “Annecy is the highlight of our year, and it’s an honor for Warner Bros. The festival is set to celebrate Cartoon Network’s 25th anniversary with a conversation about CNS’s legacy with creators Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter’s Laboratory), Craig McCracken (The Powerpuff Girls), Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time), Rebecca Sugar (Steven Universe), J.G. Quintel (Regular Show) and Adam Muto (Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake).

All three studios will showcase their upcoming films and series. Festival goers will gain industry knowledge, exciting news, and exclusive first looks.

Creative team members of WBA’s Get Jiro will delve into the creative production process of bringing the New York Times bestselling DC/Vertigo graphic novel to life.

Batman fans will get the opportunity to see the artistic development behind the production of the upcoming WB animation series Bat Fam, coming to Prime Video.

Adult Swim and WBA will showcase their efforts in the ever growing adult animation sector, with Michael Ouweleen (President, Adult Swim) and Peter Girardi (Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, Warner Bros. Animation) sharing insights.
