CANNES: Studio 100 Media has secured two agreements with broadcasters in the Nordics for its latest live-action series, including Kosmoo.

Kids’ channel SVT Barnkanalen in Sweden acquired the 13×25-minute series Kosmoo, a detective story featuring a bionic dog of the same name. In addition, public kids’ broadcaster NRK Super picked up Kosmoo and two seasons of Night Watch. The latter is a pre-teen fantasy series about three teenagers who protect their village from mythical evil beings. The shows are set to air in 2017.

Martin Krieger, the head of global distribution at Studio 100 Media, commented, “We are very happy about the ongoing collaboration with our highly valued partners NRK Super and SVT Barnkanalen. Both are home to some of our wonderful animation brands such as Maya the Bee and Heidi. Furthermore NRK Super has already successfully aired some recent live-action productions like Galaxy Park and Ghost Rockers and we are thrilled that our new live action highlights Kosmoo and Night Watch will make their way to Norway and Sweden as well.”
