More Teletubbies for CBeebies, Play-Focused Campaign Launches

DHX Brands is rolling out Tubby Playdate, a U.K. campaign spanning digital media, editorial and influencer marketing, to coincide with ten new Teletubbies episodes set for CBeebies in June.

The new episodes of the preschool series are coming exclusively to CBeebies and CBeebies iPlayer on June 4, and the Tubby Playdate campaign promotes the value of playing with others. For the initiative, DHX Brands teamed up with Biba to launch Teletubbies Playground Pals, a new app for preschoolers that encourages them to get active and play outdoors.

The Teletubbies Playground Pals app is now available to download on all iOS and Android devices. In addition, the integrated campaign will see a two-week takeover of the parenting website UKMumsTV, a blogger outreach campaign and a feature interview with research psychologist Dr. Amanda Gummer, who will share her top ten tips on hosting a playdate.
