CANNES: Studio 100 Media has expanded its relationship with Hungarian pubcaster MTVA, which has picked up the animated series Tashi.

In addition to acquiring the 52×11-minute CGI Tashi series, MTVA is continuing its agreement with Studio 100 Media for the animated hit Maya the Bee. The deal sees MTVA secure the exclusive free-to-air rights for a selection of classics from Studio 100’s library totaling more than 230 half-hours of programming.

Patrick Elmendorff, the CEO of Studio 100 Media, commented, “We are happy to renew and extend our successful collaboration with MTVA. We hope that the viewers in Hungary will enjoy our classics and the brand-new series Tashi as much as they have already enjoyed the adventures of Maya and her friends.”
