Sky Picks Up The Musical World of Mister Zoink

Sky has acquired the animated preschool series The Musical World of Mister Zoink to air on Sky Kids and NOW.

Created and produced by A Productions for Sesame Studios, the series introduces the concept of different musical sounds with the characters Hoot, Bops and The Octos, who go on adventures with Mister Zoink.

The Musical World of Mister Zoink is directed by Mark Taylor and co-written by Taylor and Ashley Slater. Slater also composes the score.

A Productions is part of France’s Cyber Group Studios.

Mark Taylor, joint managing director at A Productions, said: “The world of Mister Zoink is a colorful, characterful and imaginative place where we have fun with sound. We are delighted that Sky has launched this show in the U.K. on Sky Kids so a new young audience can enjoy the musical adventures of this wonderful cast of characters.

“The series was created and produced by A Productions in our Bristol studio and following investment from Cyber Group, our plan is to grow our slate of original IP from the studio.”
