Aardman has partnered with Sky and STUDIOCANAL to debut Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom in 2026.

The new movie will see the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm prepare for Halloween in excitement, until the clumsy Farmer trashes their beloved pumpkin patch. When Shaun turns into a mad scientist to fix the problem, things spiral out of control.

Aardman has partnered with Sky as the exclusive U.K. distributor to release the film in cinemas and on Sky Cinema and with STUDIOCANAL as the global partner outside of the U.K.

The film comes as Aardman marks 30 years since Shaun’s first appearance in Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave, which has now been broadcast in 170 territories worldwide, with its seventh. season to come later this year. The first Shaun the Sheep feature film was nominated for a BAFTA and an Academy Award for best animated feature film. The second, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, was also nominated for an Academy Award and BAFTA.
