Planeta Junior has inked deals with a raft of international broadcasters, including France’s Gulli, for its 3D-animated action-comedy series Gormiti.

The company also secured deals with Clan (Spain), Teletoon (Canada), ITV (the U.K.), Rai (Italy), TVP ABC (Poland), Nickelodeon (Greece), Cartoon Network (Portugal), Carousel (Russia) and Spacetoon (MENA). The show will also soon be launched in various other territories, such as Indonesia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Slovenia.

A planned total of 52 11-minute episodes combine action and comedy, aimed at boys 5 to 8. In addition, the new 26 episodes for season three are already under development and will be launch in 2020. The series is based on global toy brand Gormiti, created by Giochi Preziosi, which was born in 2005 and has sold more than 500 million figures worldwide.

Gormiti is produced by Giochi Preziosi along with Planeta Junior and the animation studio Kotoc (Sendokai Champions, Mutant Busters). It is written by a team of international writers headed by the show’s creator, Romain Van Liemt.
