Hasbro has signed a deal with Audible to develop and produce the first-ever Peppa Pig podcast content.

Hasbro and Audible plan to bring Peppa and her playgroup to new platforms with storytelling for all family listening occasions. The animated show will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2024.

“We’re delighted to work with Hasbro to expand our family listening content with one of the most popular and impactful brands, Peppa Pig,” said Aurelie de Troyer, head of content for the U.K. and Canada at Audible. “With nearly 20 years of exceptional storytelling for families, we’re in a unique position to develop something very special with the incredible team at Hasbro and expand Peppa’s world into the audio space.”

“Peppa is a first best friend for millions of preschoolers around the world, inspiring them to jump into every first adventure with confidence and curiosity,” said Esra Cafer, senior VP of global brand management at eOne Hasbro. “We can’t wait to bring her inimitable storytelling to the medium of podcasting for the first time. With the expertise of our friends at Audible and guided by our Blueprint 2.0 strategy, Peppa’s podcast content is poised to deliver storytelling with heart and humor to our multi-generational audience, whenever and wherever they choose.”

Additionally, Watchmaker Kross Studio has aligned with Hasbro on a ten-piece limited collectors’ set inspired by the Transformers franchise and its new film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

“The Transformers franchise has delivered action-packed entertainment on the big screen for over 15 years, and every new adventure deserves a special moment,” said Tom Warner, general manager and senior VP of action brands at Hasbro. “To celebrate the new Transformers: Rise of the Beasts film, we sought to create something truly remarkable. That’s why we collaborated with Kross Studio on an exquisite, bespoke offering of handcrafted timepieces that are sure to delight our loyal fans and collectors alike.”

Marco Tedeschi, CEO and creative director of Kross Studio, said: “We are proud to continue our track record of forging alliances with the entertainment industry’s biggest leaders and to continue delivering rare and engaging collectibles that unite the world of horology and pop culture like never before.”
