LONDON: Zodiak Kids has renewed its Mister Maker licensing agreement with Creativity International for another three years, while also appointing two new licensees for the popular arts and crafts property.

Zodiak Kids inked new licensing deals with toucanBox and Add Trading for Mister Maker in 2016. toucanBox, which delivers arts and crafts kits in personalized boxes direct to consumers in the U.K., will create bespoke Mister Maker arts and crafts kits that kids can do at home, with all materials delivered to them on a subscription basis. Add Trading is working on a line of products featuring air-drying clay, modeling clay and dough, hydro and ironing beads, and jewelry kits.

Zodiak Kids is also creating an updated brand identity and packaging for Mister Maker, with a refreshed product line slated to hit retail in the spring. Mister Maker’s Arty Party, the show’s seventh season, debuted last month on CBeebies in the U.K. and became the channel’s second highest performing series for 4- to 6-year-olds in 2015.

Claire Shaw, the VP of licensing at Zodiak Kids, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to renew Creativity International who have been our key licensee for the last seven years and to bring on board two new partners as the new series continues. These are great opportunities for reaching consumers and building on our high levels of brand awareness.”
