HOLT, a new fantasy animated series from Igloo Animations, has bowed on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
The 26-episode series follows classmates Roo, Umba and Metric from Planet Eire, who are thrown together when an accident hurls their spaceship off course during a school trip. They crash on Fomóire, a long-forgotten, ancient prison planet filled with monsters, magic and secrets. Here, they meet Jeannie, a mysterious prism who grants them the power to merge into a single unstoppable super-being—HOLT.
HOLT is produced by Igloo Animations and backed by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, RTÉ and Coimisiún na Meán. Monster Entertainment is handling distribution of the show.
The first episode of the series is now available to watch for free on the RTÉ Kids YouTube. The entire series is available in Ireland on RTÉ Player, and double-bill episodes are airing weekdays on RTÉ2.
