New Barbie Content to Premiere on Netflix

Mattel Television Studios’ new animated special Barbie and Stacie to the Rescue is slated for its global Netflix debuts.

The hour-long special will include five new songs and follow Barbie’s middle sister, Stacie, as she comes to the rescue of Barbie and Skipper.

Barbie and Stacie to the Rescue will be available on Netflix in the U.S., Canada, the Asia Pacific (excluding China) and EMEA (excluding the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Poland, and Romania) on March 14. The special will debut in Latin America, the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Romania and MENA on September 5, also on Netflix.

Broadcast partners, including Super RTL, Cartoonito, POP, Kanal2 and Kidzone will distribute the special throughout the year.
