More U.K. Licensees for Acamar Films’ Bing

Acamar Films and its licensing agent CAA-GBG have signed two new partners in the U.K. for the award-winning preschool series Bing, with new products set to launch this summer.

Redan Publishing has come on board the brand’s licensing program and will be including Bing in its multi-character magazine Fun to Learn in the U.K. beginning in August. In addition, Jolly Roger Amusement Rides worked with Acamar Films to create a Bing and Talkie Taxi coin-operated ride that will be available at U.K. shopping centers and retail later this year.

Redan Publishing and Jolly Roger Amusement Rides join a roster of licensees that includes Fisher-Price for toys, HarperCollins for publishing and STUDIOCANAL for home entertainment. Other partners are Woodmansterne, HTI Group, Dreamtex, Spearmark, Aykroyds, Roy Lowes and TVM Fashion Lab. Additionally, Acamar Films recently finalized renewals with Ravensburger for jigsaw puzzles and games, Immediate Media for the CBeebies magazine and Rainbow Productions for character costumes.

Laura Clarke, the senior licensing manager at Acamar Films, said, “It’s a very exciting time for Acamar Films—we have great companies on board for consumer products and we are looking forward to growing Bing’s presence even more in partnership with Jolly Roger and Redan Publishing. These deals enable us to take Bing and his beloved friends into new areas, giving Bingsters new ways of interacting with their favorite show!”
