Mattel Television Studios Unveils Barbie Horse Series for Netflix

Mattel Television Studios has unveiled the new eight-part animated series Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase, which will premiere globally on Netflix this fall.

The new show, made up of 25-minute episodes, will follow Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts and Barbie “Malibu” Roberts as they take a trip to the English countryside to visit Lady Carson, Ken’s aunt and owner of horses Tornado and Pepper. Before they can begin to enjoy their vacation, the prized horses and a diamond-encrusted saddle worth millions of dollars are stolen, and everyone becomes a suspect.

In order to clear their names, Barbie and Barbie embark on a journey across Europe, chasing clues and suspects to reclaim what was stolen and save the day.

Ahead of the launch, Mattel will introduce a new line of toys inspired by the series, including the Dance & Show Horse, the Barbie “Malibu” Riding Doll and the Barbie “Brooklyn” Riding Doll.
