Mattel Teams with Atlantis Paradise Island for Barbie Experience

Mattel has partnered with the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in The Bahamas to develop the immersive experience Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True.

The experience will allow fans to walk through Barbie’s Atlantis wonderland, with immersive playsets filled with photo opportunities, activity stations, themed Barbie doll boxes that guests can climb into, a pink carpet and a Barbie ball pit. The resort will also offer themed guest rooms and cabanas, bespoke retail, complimentary Barbie movie night programming and more.

The themed guest rooms and cabanas will incorporate design elements from Barbie, including pink pillows and throw blankets and customized chaise lounge chair cushions and cabana accessories.

The resort’s Sun & Ice café will introduce a Barbie-inspired menu featuring desserts, cocktails and mocktails and will be decorated with themed decor.

Atlantis Kids Adventures will offer Barbie-themed experiences such as cooking classes and activations.

The activation, in honor of Barbie’s 65th anniversary, will debut the weekend of May 25 and will last through the summer. It is the first time Barbie is coming to the Caribbean. The collaboration follows Atlantis Paradise Island’s 25th anniversary last year, which debuted multi-million-dollar renovations.
