Mattel Promotes PJ Lewis

PJ Lewis has been upped at Mattel to senior VP, global head of action figures and Fisher-Price Entertainment.

Prior to his new role, Lewis served the company in various capacities, including leading the games category team, contributing to the North American marketing organization and in corporate development. Lewis will now take on responsibility as executive lead for action figures and Fisher-Price Entertainment, including management of plush and preschool entertainment, inclusive of Barney and Imaginext.

Lewis will continue to report to Lisa McKnight, chief brand officer.

“Throughout his 18 years at Mattel, PJ has demonstrated strong leadership, with a proven track record for delivering results,” said McKnight. “I look forward to PJ’s visionary expertise that will continue to support Mattel’s ongoing evolution, bolster innovation, amplify creativity and leverage synergies across these categories.”

“It is an honor to take on this expanded role at Mattel,” added Lewis. “I am excited to build upon the incredible legacy of these brands, and I look forward to continuing to work with the team to deliver engaging product and content for families worldwide.”
