L.A. Screenings Spotlight: DHX Media

LOS ANGELES: DHX Media is celebrating its tenth anniversary this month, and is headed to the L.A. Screenings with series such as the 2D comedy Chuck’s Choice.

The company also has in its catalogue the new 3D iteration of Inspector Gadget, featuring the famed bumbling detective, his niece Penny and their dog Brain. Another highlight is the coming-of-age drama Degrassi: Next Class, following a group of students as they begin their journey into adulthood.

“DHX Media is working with a fantastic array of talent for brand-new series such as Kid vs Kat’s Rob Boutilier, as well as evolving content with established fan bases,” says Josh Scherba, the company’s senior VP of distribution. “Both Degrassi and Inspector Gadget have a global following and we are excited to be bringing their next incarnations to audiences around the world.”

Scherba adds: “We have some standout highlights for the L.A. Screenings this year, with something for every age group.”
