The live-action series The Pact, aimed at 9- to 12-year-olds, has been picked up by the French broadcaster CANAL+.

The show follows three young outcasts who form a pact to safeguard each other’s deepest secrets. This alliance is crucial for them to uncover the Anonymous Vandal, who has been causing chaos at school and seems to be well-informed about each of their lives.

A third season of The Pact, part of the KO Distribution slate, is launching this month on Télé-Québec.

“We are so thrilled to join forces with CANAL+ and eager to introduce this special series to young audiences throughout France,” said Mia Desroches, VP of international distribution at KO Distribution. “This show celebrates the meaning of friendship, courage, self-esteem and the importance of having a sense of belonging while growing up and is certain to be popular with this new group of kids and their families.”

“We are delighted to be able to broadcast The Pact on CANAL+Kids, a series that’s totally in tune with the everyday concerns of today’s teenagers, with strong, engaging characters who don’t resort to caricature and a story that engages viewers from start to finish,” said Christine Cauquelin-Malitte, head of the kids department at CANAL+.
