Konami Cross Media NY has inked a slew of apparel and fashion deals with Tuned in Tokyo, BAIT, Bershka and Park Agencies for its flagship property, Yu-Gi-Oh!

Tuned in Tokyo, which serves an audience passionate about the Japanese automobile industry, will debut a line of clothes to connect the brand with car enthusiasts.

BAIT, a sneaker, apparel and collectible brand known for its collaborations with footwear companies such as Reebok and ASICS, will connect the brand further with Gen Z. It is headquartered in Los Angeles with locations around the United States, Japan and Taiwan, with more planned for the future.

Bershka, owned by Spain’s Inditex Group (which also owns ZARA, Pull&Bear and more), will help expand the brand in Europe and in the fast fashion world. The first drop is planned for fall 2022.

Park Agencies, which has featured at retailers such as Topshop and Topman and on online retailers such as ASOS and EMP, will help to maximize Yu-Gi-Oh!’s apparel presence with the Gen Z demographic.

Jennifer Coleman, VP of licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media NY, said: “Our new collaborations will result in strong niche product lines that will provide new avenues for the continued growth of Yu-Gi-Oh! in the highly in-demand and competitive fashion and apparel scene. We look forward to working with our new licensees and retail partners as we further solidify Yu-Gi-Oh!’s place in the pop culture zeitgeist.”
