Hasbro Unveils Transformers-Ghostbusters Collab Figure

Hasbro and Sony Pictures Consumer Products have teamed up to create the Ecto-1 Ectotron, the first-ever Transformers–Ghostbusters collaborative figure.

Marking the 35th anniversaries of both the Transformers brand and the original Ghostbusters film, the figure is an interpretation of the iconic Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters that “transforms” into a robot named Ectotron. It will become available at GameStop this summer and can be pre-ordered now at HasbroPulse.com, GameStop and EB Games Canada.

The new Transformers character Ectotron will be formally introduced to fans in his origin story by IDW Publishing. A brand new five-part series featuring the robot is slated to commence in June.
